ADDICTION RECOVERY STAFF PRIVATE CONSULTING PRACTICE

ARSNH Substance Abuse Counseling Services
You may not know that the ARS counseling team also engages in addiction recovery counseling outside of ARSNH’s programs. Led by Addiction Recovery Service’s own Program Director John Iudice, we offer private counseling services to organizations of all types. John has listened to people with substance use problems and their families for the last 20 years and through this experience has developed an innate understanding of the values, beliefs, emotions and motives of the people served by ARS and other New Hampshire service systems. Similarly, through his experiences listening to program staff as a colleague, supervisor and director, he fully understands clinicians and program staff which allows him to inspire and teach other professionals to help the people we serve.
His team of consultants has extensive knowledge of evidence-based practices, conducting utilization review for insurance reimbursement and the different programs and levels of care available coming from having been a clinician or supervisor in various inpatient, outpatient and medication assisted treatment settings.
Based on this experience, we are able to provide the following consulting services:
- Licensing supervision for LICSW, LCMHC, MLADC, LADC and CRSWs
- Motivational Interviewing training in 2, 4- or 6-hour blocks (CEUs available for LICSW, LCMHC, LMFT, and pastoral counselors)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training
- Overview of substance use disorders and addiction
- Group supervision for various clinical teams, recovery support teams or behavioral health technicians.
- Reflective supervision to promote safe and healthy staff cultures
Our expertise is significant, and we have worked with some terrific organizations in the past. Below are just some of the groups we have worked with on a supervisory or consultancy basis:
SOS Recovery Community Organization
Safe Harbor Recovery Center
Granite Pathways Strength to Succeed program
Granite Pathways Doorway and regional access points services
New England Recovery and Wellness
Greater Seacoast Community Health Center
Hope on Haven Hill
Seacoast Mental Health
The Center for Life Management
The Moore Center
Aware Recovery Care
3M Employee Assistance Program
The Upper Room Family Resource Center
Crossroads Recovery Center.
In addition, we are familiar with the educational component of training staff and organizing recovery programs. John has taught direct practice counseling courses for the University of New Hampshire’s Master’s in Social Work program and has developed and taught a Treatment of Addictions and Assessment course through UNH. He and his counseling team are fortunate enough to be able to take on consulting jobs at organizations outside of ARS and have seen great success helping those in the recovery community.
