Maybe you’ve concluded that your drinking habits aren’t healthy. It might’ve been a run-in with the law, an ultimatum by a loved one, frustration over everything you’ve lost because of alcohol, or something else – whatever brought you to this page is a good reason. This is the first step in joining the more than 6,000 people in New Hampshire who got help for their substance use disorders every day in 2019.
Getting help is hard. There are so many things that can interfere: work, families, lack of motivation, and fear, just to name a few. That doesn’t have to stop you from getting treatment for your alcohol use disorder. Addiction Recovery Services’ private alcohol rehab is available for anyone who can’t make it through the doors of a treatment facility, no matter the reason.
Private alcohol rehab consists of us coming to your home and delivering treatment to you there. At-home alcohol rehab ensures your privacy and comfortable surroundings to aid in healing from alcohol use disorder. It also allows for deeper family involvement in treatment and therapies and greater opportunities to change your environment into what’s most conducive to your recovery.
With our in-home alcohol rehab, we empower people to conquer their alcohol use disorder through a harm-reduction model, psychotherapy, and hands-on treatment. These are just some of the perks of private alcohol rehab with
You’ll work up to six hours per week with a case manager to create a treatment plan customized to you – your needs, your home, and your family. That case manager will be on standby five days a week, by email or by phone, for anything you may need. We can also safely intervene in any crises, offering assistance in even the direst circumstances.
You’ll receive one-on-one, weekly psychotherapy sessions with an expert provider, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cue desensitization, and environmental engineering. CBT helps individuals recognize and change negative thought patterns, and cue desensitization includes careful exposure to triggers in a safe, supportive environment. Environmental engineering involves changing the person’s surroundings to encourage the wanted changes in behavior and thinking.
You’ll receive alcohol rehab at home, which allows for extra privacy that treatment at a public facility doesn’t. Anyone undergoing private alcohol treatment can rest assured knowing their treatment is confidential and that they won’t have to share their difficulties with anyone outside of us and those closest to them. Private alcohol rehab is a unique opportunity for personal, individualized care. Our skilled and compassionate staff will give the person undergoing at-home alcohol treatment their full and undivided attention.
We offer help with budgeting, employment services, appointment setting and management, physical activity regimens, support with education, and more. We’ll also hold anyone in treatment accountable when it comes to taking medications and keeping their living spaces clean. Goal setting is an invaluable skill to carry into recovery, and we’ll be happy to assist with that, as well as give weekly progress reports for anyone in treatment to see proof of their progress.
We address multiple aspects of your life to set you up for success and joy in your recovery because we realize sometimes, people need more support than just psychotherapy.
Your entire family can be involved in your treatment process. We offer recovery coaching for both the participant and the family and will mediate conflicts and encourage better communication to create an environment truly conducive to recovery.
There are so many benefits that come with alcoholism treatment at home. Here are just some of many:
Individualized care that focuses entirely on you
The privacy and comfort of a familiar environment to heal in
More family involvement
Help to change your environment to better promote your recovery
No need to travel for your treatment
The biggest difference between private alcohol rehab and public alcohol rehab may sound obvious: privacy.
Public alcohol rehab focuses a lot on group therapy and building relationships with others seeking treatment. While that is very important, it isn’t the most effective method for everyone. Additionally, counselors’ and therapists’ attention is split between a large group of individuals at the treatment facility. The environment and people are unfamiliar, and this can cause a lack of comfort and difficulty opening up. It also requires reliable transportation.
Private alcohol treatment focuses solely on the individual in the comfort of their own home. Because the person seeking treatment doesn’t have to be away from their family, families can be more involved in care, as can the home itself. Therapy can involve the environment that the individual spends most of their time in, ensuring that it encourages recovery, too.
